Error handling
The Distributed Processing section in the Project Manager controls what happens when one part of a batch job fails. The options are:
Abort of first warning: This is the default option and aborts the entire batch job at the first sign of a problem.
Abort of first error: This aborts the entire batch job if one clip can not be processed.
Process rest of job: This continues to process the batch job despite the problems.
When initially setting up distributed network processing or you are new to PFClean; the Abort of first warning is a good choice to use since it immediately highlights any problems that need addressing in the configuration, such as file access issues, for example. Once any such teething problems have been ironed out and you are confident batch is correctly configured, you can switch to one of the more fault tolerant error handling options.
