Project Manager
All work carried out in PFClean occurs within a project, and there must be an active project before any of the application's features are accessible. The project stores all the information on the clips that have been imported, which nodes have been created in the Workflow Manager, the contents of these nodes, results files etc...
The project can become large in size and benefits from fast access so make sure it is stored on a fast disk with plenty of free space. The project is structured on disk as a directory containing a number of files and sub-directories. A recursive copy of the project directory is sufficient to back-up the state of the project.
The Project Manager allows new projects to be created or existing projects to be loaded. You can create snapshots of projects to store the current state of a project and archive finished project. Furthermore, project and cache locations are managed in the Project Manager.
The Project Manager is shown if no project is currently loaded or by clicking the project manager button in the Workflow Manager.
