PFManager Quick Start

Important Information

In order to provide you with an improved experience and greater flexibility in the way our software is deployed across rapidly changing work environments, we’ve made some changes to our PFAccount and Product Entitlement tools.

PFManager is no longer supported, and cannot be used to download the latest software builds. Please visit the PFAccount Admin Portal for more information.

1. Download and install PFManager

Download PFManager from your PFAccount and install it on the machine you want to run your The Pixel Farm product.

If you are installing PFManager on Windows, you may need to install OpenSSL as well. Please see here for details.

2. Running PFManager for the first time

When running PFManager for the first time, you will need your computer administrator rights, as well as your PFAccount login details.

3. Logging in

Click Login to log in with your PFACC account number, registered email address and password.

Upon first login, a setup assistant will guide you through various settings controlling which actions will require logging into PFManager and PFManager's internet use. Reply Yes or No based on your preference. These settings can be changed in the Preferences tab at a later time.

4. Assigning a product entitlement

Open the Entitlements tab and locate an entitlement with a ✓ in the Availability column and click Assign.

Please note: This will require computer administrator rights.

5. Downloading your application

Open the Not installed menu below the logo of the product you want to install. The menu will show the available versions. Click the + next to the version you want to install to start the installation.

6. Run the software

Click the logo to run the application.
