Network Configuration
In order to access any online functionality such as online documentation, user support or in-app notifications, PFTrack needs to be able to communicate with The Pixel Farm's servers over the following ports:
Destination | Port |
---|---|
https://services-thepixelfarm.uk | 443 |
https://support-thepixelfarm.co.uk | 443 |
If you wish to use any of this functionality, please ensure access to these sites is allowed in your network firewall.
If a static entitlement token is being used instead of the PFBucket entitlement management system, PFTrack will also need to communicate with these servers to launch. Further details on static entitlement tokens are available here.
On Linux, PFTrack also needs OpenSSL 1.1 installing to connect to these servers. Further details are here.
Proxy servers
If a proxy server is being used, PFTrack will attempt to use the system proxy settings for any network communication.
On Linux, the http_proxy
and/or https_proxy
environment variables may be used to specify the location of the proxy server. Please check your system documentation for further information.
